Angelina Matos
Owner & Head Trainer
Angelina Matos, the founder of Bee’s Balanced K9’s, has been surrounded by dogs for as long as she can remember. Growing up in her mother’s grooming shop, she spent her childhood grooming Shih Tzus and connecting with Golden Retrievers, even before she was tall enough to reach the grooming table. By the age of six, she was already engaging with dogs, which sparked a lifelong passion for their care and understanding.
With over eight years of professional dog training experience, Angelina has worked with a wide variety of dogs—from terriers to large breeds, resc to purebreds, and lively puppies to wise seniors. Her journey has included competitive scent work, obedience trials, dedicated rescue advocacy for dogs across the U.S. What sets Angelina apart is her belief that effective training starts with a strong relationship. She has seen how a solid bond between a dog and its owner can greatly enhance behavior and improve overall quality life for both. This philosophy is at the core of Bee’s Balanced K9’s, where the focus is on building partnerships rooted in trust, communication, and understanding—rather than tension.
Through work, Angelina has helped countless families achieve a more balanced lifestyle with their dogs. Her greatest inspiration comes from witnessing transformations—not just in the dogs, also in the owners and families who gain confidence joy, and harmony through the process.
